Defense & Security Solutions awarded DOD contract

Washington, D.C. September 28, 2006 – Pegasus Global Holdings (Pegasus) announced today that its subsidiary Defense & Security Solutions, LLC is being awarded a $4 million firm-fixed-price contract to provide 100 Jukebox systems to counter the growing threat of the IED. Military personnel operating within the Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) theaters of operation encounter very adaptive and innovative insurgents that leverage commercial radio frequency (RF) technology for strategic effect. To counter this proliferation of Radio Controlled IEDs (RCIEDs), the Navy is procuring and developing counter RCIED systems to protect the soldier/marine on foot, motorized vehicles and fixed facilities.
